Well, folks were wondering if the adjustable neck caused any problems with the sound. Here are some sound files of my latest (the cocobolo body with the wild grain pattern). These are totally unprocessed tracks, just straight miked to get the most representative sound of the instrument. The first track is each individual string plucked and allowed to decay. Individual strings BTW, I paid these guys in beer and they must have had one too many since they missed one string ![]() The next track is the open chords E, A, G, C, and D, strummed and allowed to decay. Chords Next are 2 instrumental tracks Don't Think Twice and Full Workout My thanks to Dennis Leahy for converting these from audio CD to MP3 and hosting the files on his web site. The playing is by Matt Mattson of Bemidji, MN. He is the "M" on my GM logo and he did apologize to me for being a bit rusty ![]() So here you are, Serge. Have a listen. Grant |
